I own: Spyro, Trigger Happy, Gil Grunt, Stealth Elf, Sonic Boom, Flameslinger, and Whirlwind.
Sonic Boom is BY FAR my favorite. Though the rest of my family love Stealth Elf. His attacks are unique, powerful, he can fly, and he's fast. As you level, you'll be able to launch eggs that turn into baby Sonic Booms (Up to 4) that will follow you around and swarm the enemies.
He's also the only Wind Skylander available except for Whirlwind, which is hard to find at the moment and is incredibly boring to play.
If you own Skylanders, you want Sonic Boom. Period.

People, this is a plastic toy who's original MSRP was $7.99. While it is collectible it is not rare or limited, more will be made. I am giving this item 1 star because the holiday leaches on Amazon and eBay have artificially inflated demand making most of the popular Skylanders figures impossible to find.
More to the point, I require at least one air type Skylander to gain access to the full content of the games. Not having access to this content is obviously not fun for me. Since I can't pay a reasonable price of $7.99-$9.99 for this figure I am leaving a negitive review in the hopes that people will come to their senses and stop paying a %560 markup.

Now dont get me wrong this game is great. My 5yr loves it and I love playing it with him. He got it for Christmas with a few extra characters we were able to find. And then there is the problem. You cant find anymore anywhere. Not sure the reasoning behind it, but I think its terrible that people have purchased quite a few only to sell them at an outrageous price. At least my son is understanding that we will wait to purchase them when the stores get them and pay $7.99. I refuse to give these leeches a penny more for a plastic toy. So hopefully others will come to their senses and wait that way when they are not in demand anymore, these sellers will get stuck with them and have to sell them at regular price. So until then, we will continue on with game having fun and patiently wait till we can get all the characters at a REASONABLE price.
