I purchased these for xmas presents. My kids love this one. Great idea, nice spin on a typical wii game. Problem is my kids want them all now!

LOL, hard to start off with a laugh for those who've seen the commercials!

Boomer is one of two initial non-start figures I'd gotten (the commercials kinda helped with THAT decision).

Boomer (a Tech-type Skylander) is a troll, a bomb and dynamite-lobbing troll! But this character's manic expression, tendencies of muttering "boom" once in a while, ALL while either lobbing explosives, planting Troll Bombs, or using his Troll Smash (a wide-range 'quake' ability), mind you BOTH of which are powerful abilities, really makes you fall in love for the manic little troll-bugger!

Overall, a potent and comedic add-on to your Skylander team.

Every seller here is price gouging you. Your better off waiting until the initial popularity dies down and buying them for the original $7.97 price at wal-mart and various other places like Best buy or Target. Even Toys R' Us is only $9.99 every one of these retailers are rip off artists looking to steal your money. Even Drill Sergeant and Whirlwind are going to be released at the end of this month as part of a 3 pack in the states so they are no longer exclusive. So don't pay these prices. Boycott Amazon's price gouging and just be patient.

As for Boomer we purchased him on Toys R' Us' website for 9.99 plus s+h. His gameplay is a bit unusual and not my favorite. he utilizes throwing dynamite as a base attack and also has a ground pound move. in later stages he can also plant bombs as traps for enemies. He's not an essential character but easy to find and makes for a funny dress up character for kids (all those different hats).
